October-November 2017 Weekly Meetings

Join us on Tuesdays from noon to 1:15 pm for our weekly meetings. They are held at Arte Americas, 1630 Van Ness Ave, Fresno.

You must be a member of a Rotary Club, or a guest of Cultural Arts Rotary Club to attend the meetings. Advance registration is required. Contact Terri Broderick, Club Secretary.

Lunch: $15 per person. Cash or check payable to Cultural Arts Rotary Club.

Meet Judge Chittick who provides over Fresno’s Veterans Court (VTC). VTC’s are collaborative courts that offer rehabilitation as an alternative to incarceration.

Join us and lean about the history of Rotary Foundation and how we are making a difference! The Rotary Foundation transforms gifts into service projects that change lives. During the past 100+ years, the Foundation has spent $3 billion on life-changing sustainable projects in the community and around the world. Cultural Arts Rotary Club is one of over 35,000 clubs that carry out sustainable service projects in six areas: promoting peace, providing clear water, saving mothers and children, supporting education, growing local economics, and fighting disease.

Tuesday, November 14
Program: A.J. Parker-Foster Musical Instrument Project

Join us for a special celebration honoring the 2017 student recipient of the A.J. Parker-Foster Scholarship Memorial Award. Since 2012, Cultural Arts Rotary Club in partnership with the family of A.J. Parker Foster, has collaborated on a musical instrument project. Annually, a musical instrument has been given to a youth who has demonstrated a dedication to music, studies, and community contributions and who may not otherwise be able to afford the purchase.
