Cultural Arts Rotary Foundation (CARF) is a separate organization focused on serving the Club’s and community’s larger funded projects. CARF is funded through various special events such as SHIPLOAD OF FUN at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater as well as private donations. While all type of projects are funded, there is an emphasis on youth oriented cultural arts activities.
Annual Grant Requests
In October of each year, the Cultural Arts Rotary Foundation approves $10,000 in grants to community benefit organizations. An application is required. For requests under $500, the request may go directly to the Foundation by submitting a letter to the Foundation President. Awards through the Foundation typically range between $500 and $2,500. Recent donations include Children’s Musical Theatreworks, Fresno Music Academy and Arts, EOC SOUL school scholarships, EOC Sanctuary Youth Art Exhibit at Fresno Art Museum, Focus Forward Summer of Hope Art Exhibit, and UR Here Theater.
